The Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice is paying close attention to the agricultural industry these days. Through a series of five public workshops held in 2010, garnering input from over 3,500 people, it and the U.S. Department of Agriculture examined issues facing the agricultural sector, and promised to ensure a competitive process.
