One of our specializations is the structuring, negotiating, and documenting of public finance transactions, including determining the legality of the issuance and sale of various types of municipal bonds and lease-purchase financings. We have served as bond counsel for hundreds of local governmental entities, communities, districts, and agencies on bond issues totaling millions of dollars. These offerings include bonds for major and minor public projects, industrial development revenue bonds, and other types of tax-exempt financing. We have also served as counsel to the underwriter, lender, trustee, nongovernmental borrower, or credit enhancer in bond transactions.
Our municipal finance attorneys have played integral roles in the structuring and documentation of financings and refundings for a wide spectrum of projects, including roads and highways, sewage systems and wastewater treatment plants, water facilities, recreational facilities, fire stations and equipment, industrial development projects, and various other infrastructure projects and municipal equipment and facilities projects.
